Cooling is especially important in the acute stage of an injury (during the first 48 hours)! Cooling eases the pain and reduces the inflammatory response and oedema formation. Furthermore, hematoma formation and swelling are also reduced, since blood vessels contract in response to the cold.

Ingredients and effects:
Methyl salicylate eases pain and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Menthol has cooling and slightly anesthetic effects. Methyl salicylate, menthol and camphor stimulate the blood flow. In case of injuries and inflammation, an increased blood flow results in faster easing of the symptoms.
